Make sure to get your orders done in time for Christmas. The jewelry and purses have a deadline of Nov. 1! What a perfect gift for your loved one. Albums need to be turned in by the end of November. The prints and cards have a deadline of Dec. 15! You could always purchase a gift certificate for those who are hard to shop for.
Check back soon for the 2009 calendar. It will include specials for the upcoming year. I plan on doing Beach portraits again. Not sure if Galveston will be open and ready. If not...we will find an even better location for our sessions. I also plan on doing sessions in San Antonio. The missions there are just beautiful and make for a very unique background that offers beauty and history. This would be the perfect backdrop for brides, families or children. Of course I will still offer the Children’s Collectors Series for $35. I want portraits to be affordable for everyone!
October is Family Portrait Month. Take advantage of this chance to capture your family this fall in a unique portrait. Call me for a consultation to create a personalized portrait. We can discuss location, clothing, etc. I would recommend an outdoor session. There are so many wonderful places in east Texas to create a family heirloom to be passed on for generations.
We would like to announce some exciting changes for Joe Lowery Photography. In the future we will be operating under a new name and from a new location. Images by Becki will be located beginning September 1, 2008, at 1220 Ellis Ave., Suite A (across from the Children’s Clinic). We will continue to serve you in the same personal and professional manner. Your orders will still be processed and ready for pick up...just at our new location.
These changes will allow us to be more competitive in an ever changing market. As most of you know Becki has been with Joe Lowery Photography since the beginning. For 10 years now she has been developing her craft and establishing herself as a portrait artist. She has been recognized by her peers within the Texas Professional Photographers Association for her talent and received numerous awards.
You will still receive the same quality service and beautiful portraits by the same
photographers. Becki and Joe will still be working together just as we have in the past to bring you the best portraits in East Texas.

All the squads were so much fun to work with! I should have everyone posted today so you can choose your images this week during camp. Turn in your selection to TJ. You can view all the images if you look under “MyPortraits” and look under event and choose Cheerleaders. Let me know if you have any questions regarding your order. Please notice that we chose our favorite individual shots and enhanced each one of those photos. We will enhance any photo that you choose for your package.

Can you believe that school is almost out and summer is here! Before you know, it will be time for our Summer Collector’s Series special, “Gone Fishin’”. The Children’s Collectors Series are so affordable, only $35. It is a great way to document your little one’s growth. They change so quickly! My precious little redhead, Clayton is already 2! It seems like just the other day I was doing his newborn portraits. Don’t let time pass you by without gathering such precious keepsakes of your kiddos!
I am so excited about our upcoming Beach Portraits in Galveston. We have a few openings left...so call today! We will have a private area on the West end of the island where I rented a house on Mirimar Beach. It will be tons of fun! I recommend you wear colors that you would find on the beach...blues, whites, khaki, pinks, etc. And maybe something fun for the kiddos to change into after our “formal” shots are taken. The relational portraits are by far my favorite.
